Do you hear that sound? That's the sound of people who think the end of the world is near because the person who thought would never win the big popularity contest actually won.
Ironically, it's the same either way. It's only the end of the world if the popular vote didn't win. People crying and whinging about how they "feel unsafe" even though it's only been minutes and the president isn't going to declare an all out war to those who disagree with him.
They're mad that the war criminal who pandered to the gays didn't win. But really, that's what you get for calling people who have differing political views "racist" or "misogynistic", and goddamn has the word "misogynistic" been more overused in today's world more than your mum. They want to blame anyone but perhaps the overexposure helped in matters. The overexposure and the constant demonizing of people who disagree with you in small matters.
Cry as much as you like but it's not going to change anything. It's time to live in reality. Safe spaces won't help you. He's not Hitler nor Satan. He's a guy you disagree with. Simple. But you never know the possibilities. That's how democracy works.
You can't always get what you want, no matter how heartbroken you get, no matter how much you cry. And calling the people you disagree with "stupid" isn't going to help your case. It shows that you believe in the "You're wrong, I'm right ALWAYS" and the "With me or against me" mentality. You're better than that. It's only day one. You'll live.
